CONTRIBUTIONS AND/OR DONATIONS

ReLPAG (Recognition of Life Long Learning in Psychology Action Group) is an organisation which challenged the Minister of Health and the Health Professions Council of South Africa in the high court after Regulations were passed in 2011 resulting in non-clinical psychologists not being paid by certain medical aids. Please see the article written by Dr Susan Kriegler named: Sielkundiges sonder werk

Many adult patients and parents with children in crises find themselves stranded these days as result of certain medical aids' refusal to pay non-clinical psychologists.

ReLPAG’s court case in the High Court of the Western Cape (Case no: 12420/13) was scheduled for 21 April 2016 but was postponed until 15 August 2016 and then again to the 14th - 17th of November 2016, therefore the dire need for further finances. The Founding affidavit (6 August 2013) as well as the Supplementary affidavit (1 July 2014) and JASA’s Press release (14 August 2013) can be found on JASA’s website.
